Jordans Solicitors opened as an independent family practice on 1 June 2017.  It is headed by Barbara Jordan – a highly respected and experienced divorce and family lawyer with many years’ experience and her team, previously based in Cheltenham, have now moved to a Head Office in Lydbrook, Gloucestershire, although with a Cheltenham facility for clients who would prefer to meet up in Cheltenham.

Barbara Jordan


Having trained in the City, Barbara Jordan moved to Herefordshire to bring up a family and has worked as a Partner with Harrison Clark Rickerbys and Lodders Solicitors, both of Cheltenham.


She specialises in financial issues arising out of divorce and co-habitation disputes, understanding that every divorce profoundly affects the future of her clients and that the outcome of divorce proceedings will, in almost every case, have a significant effect on her clients’ future.  She is known for the commitment and support she offers to her clients during divorce and for the practical and effective advice she gives.


Praised for the openness, honesty and frankness of our service , we will keep you informed at every stage of your matter as we work towards obtaining the best possible outcome, whatever the circumstances.


Barbara is an accredited member of Resolution and The Law Society Family Law Panel and is also a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.


The firm also offers advice on Professional Negligence and other disputes relating to land and family arguments which may arise on death.
